Has anyone replaced their headlight (h4) sockets with ceramic ones?
was out shopping last night, and noticed the n/s dipped beam was dim.
turning light switch on / of and fault disappeared.
I've had a look at Haynes wiring diagram, and have ruled out dodgy earth as the rest of the lights were ok. I've been thinking, that probably the h4 socket is a bit manky. I'll have to wait till weekend to have a good look.
As the ceramic ones are only a couple of quid a pair, is it worth replacing them anyway ???
Just in case it could be earth problem, does anyone know where to look?
regards
