Centrifuge filter noise.

I'm hoping its nothing wrong.
Just done a full oil change and replaced both oil filters.
When I run the engine and then turn off I can hear the centrifuge Rotor filter still spinning for a few seconds. I am aware this is the way the filter works in that it spins. Am i worrying over nothing.

Yep. I'd worry if you could not hear it slowing down. It spins at nearly 20,000 rpm when at full speed and maybe a quarter that speed at idle. Some of the cheapo rotors bind on the shaft and dont spin fast enough or at all.

Thanx Shifty. Was a worry as its the first time I've changed the oil and filters.
Thought I'd knackered something
