Disco 2 centrifugal filter housing thread size

Does anyone know the TPI on the screws that hold the cap on? Mine have been stripped and contemplating running an imperial tap down. Or re tapping to 5/16

m6 x 1 you can fit a recoil kit

Drill right through to clean hole and use long nut and bolt

I have considered it and is still on the list. It's just a quick fix. Just going to stick a 1/4 BSF through it for the time being I think
