central london, want to get Landy on road

Hello everyone

I'm joining this site as i have a 1983 lightweight short wheel base ex military landy and sadly because of a whole heap of reasons have left it sitting for the last 3 or so years to sit outside. Everytime i've looked at it i've been wracked with guilt as it used to be in fantastic condition and run well.

So this summer i've made a promise to myself to get it going, i'm based in Central London and wondered if anyone knows of any reputable garages or individual who can help me get it back on the road and not rip me off.

I've got a few spare wheels but i have no idea what condition it will be like machnically. The fuel tank is full so will need draining too.

unfortunately that arnt many reputable garages around,they will see a novice coming a mile off and will rip you off without you even knowing.

if you can try and read up and do as much as you can yourself
