Central Locking

Can anyone please be of help?

I have an intermittent problem with the central locking on my RR Classic.
On occasions the fob will only de activate the alarm,access being made using the door key.On other occasions it will function as normal ,releasing the doors fully except for the drivers door where the key is used to fully release.We are talking millimetres (2-3)
Using the key on the passenger door operates the system fully on all
doors.Tail gate is on seperate lock so not affected.
I have removed the door card and plastic film ,and checked to the best of my ability.

If you were talking about a freelander, I'd say drivers side door solenoid-cos thats what wrong with mine. Since I ain't got a rangie, I'd only be guessing that its the same thing gone on yours...

I know it's along shot and a bit of pain time wise , so I'll just have to swap the front door actuators over and see what happens.
