Central locking

Right ive done a quick search and not really found out. On my 200tdi disco someone has wired in what looks like bmw remote central locking as it has a bmw fob. It seems to be playing up. When I press the buttons on the fob it does not do anything. Central locking is fine on the key though. Possibly a dodgy wire or relay fault or maybe the transmitter has lost signal as th ligjt does not flash in tje car now. Need to have a look when I finish work but just thort id ask on here aswell.

No mate as the light flashes on the remote when it is pressed. But I have another remote so will check

Worth checking as there may be enough power to light the LED but not enough to send a signal.

Perhaps they just left it on the keyring?

No mate ive had the disxo for over a year and it stopped working yesterday
