central locking

Hi everyone i am simon and have a 1998 p38 and it is driving me mad when i unlock with the key fob the back doors unlock and when puting the key in the door the driverside and the boot unlock and i hasve to lift the leaver for the passenger side front can anyone help before i have a breakdown please

You must be a bit unstable if this sort of thing is causing you to break down. Doesn't the NHS cover mental health?

I'm feeling good about myself for the first time in awhile, because my locks are weird like this and it really hasn't affected me at all.

Id guess you have a problem with both the front door catch soleniods, there common to go wrong but not sure why you boot would only unlock with the key in the lock,

I'd do the door solenoids first and see how it goes fromt there.

Any parts you need give me a shout.
