central locking probs???

My discovery 300tdi is being a pain in the arse. Reason is when I lock the car via fob or key it unlocks again instantly it will do this about 4-5 times if not more, sometimes I can be out there 10 mins or more trying to get it to lock. Its the same using the key or the fob,unlocking isnt a problem at all just locking it. Any ideas where to look or adjust anything. Thanks

Bounce back, try re-adjusting the drivers door actuator on it's mountings, locking/unlocking with the fob while doing it as there is a fine line with the adjustment working fully or not..

Just slacken the screws of the mounting plate very slightly u don't want the thing slopping about when doing an adjustment left or right which ever works, also a splash of WD/Waxoyl or similar maybe worth while on what u can see in that area which isn't much..

Mine does this at time, I sometimes raise and lower the door locking knob thing a few times - so that the disco locks and unlocks again for a good while.

Not a proper fix I know but it seems to work.

Must say, in the year that i owned that truck i never had a problem with the central locking
