Hi all

I am new to the site and world of land rovers! My brother and I bought a Disco II the other day and we are having a problem with our central locking. The drivers door is the only one that unlocks with the key when using the button and key in drivers door. Even the button on dash doesn't open the other locks. They all open fine manually from inside, and all go down when the car hits 7mph. We've been told it may be deadlocked?

Is there any fix to this without sending to a garage?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi, no way deadlocked... deadlocked means u can't open it from the handle either

the button on dash must open all doors.... push the unlock second time after u unlocked the drivers door... if it's setted on SPE(single point entry) the drivers door will open on first command and the others on the second one.... when you push the button on dash(or on the fob) put your ear close to the other door locks one by one and if u hear a click or something it means the central locking works but the actuators are gone...wont be the first time.

what about the taildoor?

it could be a wiring or electrical issue too but for that u need to do some measurements
