Central lock problem

Hi everyone,
Lately the right side rear lock is ok when locking the car with the fob but does not open.Using the ignition key itself won't lock either.
My question is, if you would be so kind to enlighten me,changing the lock will solve the problem and what needs doing after?thank you.
