big syncrowave, fully loaded had to pull some strings to get it as miller transformer sets are no longer official so its sort of a grey import but I wanted a tig that hopefully will out live me!

I'm either getting a the same one £500 second hand (pulse box doesn't work) Miller Synchrowave 300s or I'm gonna get a Hobart 300 HF which is slightly smaller for the same price but available now has a new ish water cooler and one of the massive foot pedals from hobart with made from metal not plastic…….

I don't know much about Tigs but the guy it's for knows even less! He wants one for refurbing alloy wheels. We're based in Newcastle Under Lyme too.

AC is what you need for ally so yes

I use about 150amp when repairing alloy wheels so it will be ideal

Spoke to the guy but he needs to buy some other wheel repairing machine first so I'm tempted to buy this myself. Just what I'm looking for.
