A while back my CD suddenly went quiet.
6 CD changer in boot
The radio works fine but the CD is so quiet that can hardly hear it but it works and plays CDs
I have cleaned it with a CD cleaner but still the same
Anyone got any suggestion?
Thank you

Corroded connector?

Thanks folks
The connector behind the radio is clean havent checked the one behind the changer.
I thought the cleaner disc would clean the needle

As nice as the system was I changed it for a Bluetooth head unit. Not everyone's cup o'char but not more cd's in the door pockets and bulging from the glove box. Not helpful sorry @oakey

Thanks Mark I am kind of considering changing it for something more modern but cannot get te hang of downloading stuff yet lol

Trouble is I've got stuff on cds and tapes (especially) that you just can't get online or anywhere...
I've just got a new P38 that's got an Alpine system with 'Bose upgrade' - but one channel of the cd is faint It's on the list:)

Spotify, on yeah phone and paired with your new head unit and bingo any music you can remember.
This led zeppelin,
This is Foo fighters... Anything you want. That's my thing matey

It's not that difficult to get at the cd changer to check and clean connections. I had mine out and took it apart when I first got Duchess to free off a jammed disc/draw. Trim off and then a few 10mm head bolts iirc.
