Had a new battery fitted and now the following dont work.

central locking
electric windows
clock
stereo
alarm
interior lights

And when you press the tail gate switch it beeps

Had a garage look at it and they said they would bypass the ccp as it is faulty and this would save me £100s I have looked in the haynes manual and is states that there is a transit mode on freelanders, do you think this is the case.

Is it possible that the new battery might have been inadvertently connected with wrong polarity for a short time during the battery change procedure? carefully check all fuses and fusible links. D..

so how do you get it out of (and in) to transit mode ?

if it has gone into transit mode, then the only way to get out of it is a reprogram from main dealer,

Thanks guys I think I will take it to the dealer on monday and not do the bypass..
