Had a new battery fitted and now the following dont work.
  1. central locking
  2. electric windows
  3. clock
  4. stereo
  5. alarm
  6. interior lights
And when you press the tail gate switch it beeps:eek: Had a garage look at it and they said they would bypass the ccp as it is faulty and this would save me £100s I have looked in the haynes manual and is states that there is a transit mode on freelanders, do you think this is the case.

(serious anwsers only please);)

Is it possible that the new battery might have been inadvertently connected with wrong polarity for a short time during the battery change procedure? carefully check all fuses and fusible links. D..

if it has gone into transit mode, then the only way to get out of it is a reprogram from main dealer,
