Caravan/trailer light check

A few weeks ago, I had hooked up to my caravan and switched on all my lights to check they were working. I walked to the back of the caravan and they were going through a sequence showing each set of lights one after another. I have no idea what I did to produce this result but it was a great help in doing this routine check. Unfortunately, I have been unable to repeat it. Has anyone any idea how to do this?

If anyone is still interested, it has taken me nearly a year to find the solution to this conundrum. I have found that if I switch on all of my lights, before hooking up to the caravan, the lights go through a checking sequence. I am not sure if this is due to my Freelander wiring, the new hitch and cabling or the caravan wiring but it works. It has made hooking up on my own far easier.

Not heard of that one.
By all lights, what do you mean?
The factory trailer module is connected to the CAN, so only does what it's instructed to do by the CJB.
I've not seen a light show on mine, but then I generally don't connect the trailer plug with the lights on. Mine has a genuine trailer module and harness installed.

Hi, by all lights I mean they go in a sequence with each set of lights going on for a few seconds one after another. It is then easy to see if one or both bulbs are not working. Lights, brakes, signals, fog and reversing. All one after another. Even my 7 year old grandson can now check them for me. (Although I still do a quite look myself). I have no idea what your talking about on the CAN or CJB so cannot help you there.
