Car has Locked out

Hi, originally I had a problem with my tailgate (it would not open) and than I have found out that it is operated from RF door, so I have checked the micro switch wiring and find the fault , which was red wire, I put everything back and my RF door completely lost connection with car, it would not operate on key fob and window also would not operate. I have noticed that door outstation was getting hot in one spot. I left it so as I was planing to get door actuator and change it, all other doors were working on key fob and Rf door I was locking manually. few days later one morning battery gone flat and car has locked himself displaying massage: key code lockout, I put new battery but when I trying to synchronize the key it would not acknowledge.
my guess is:
1. cos RF door actuator is not working it does not send the signal from drivers door to BECM and cos of that car is locked
Plan is to replace RF door actuator, also RF receiver to YWY500170 and may be get another outstation just in case. after this I am hopping all will start work.
please advice me if I missed something before I order parts as the parts are coming from overseas and it takes time and also very costly.
one more thing, I cannot find my EKA code, I looked everywhere but no luck, I have radio code but no EKA code, any idea how to get it in case I need to use it ?

Regarding the EKA code; if you take proof of ownership of the vehicle, and identification to any decent Land Rover dealership, they should give it to you. They can get it for no trouble, so be wary if they request payment.

Thanks for reply, car is 2001 p38 range rover, unfortunately I am in Trinidad with my car and I will be very surprise if any of you guys around here , regarding EKA code, I cannot physically deliver any documents to to uk as I am out of country, I was thinking of sending them by fax or e-mail but I need to wait until Monday, I also found websites that will give you code for £20, has anyone come a cross something like this? thanks

I got EKA code from the internet , now I am waiting for my parts.

P.S. it locked out cos battery gone flat. I dont know why but people suggested it can be RF receiver as I still have the old version.

hi you can take the BLUE WIRE ONLY off the rf reciever and try and enter eka code but possibly might not ,see my rely to you message ,,also i can e-mail you the re-sync script if you need cheers mozz

do you think with faulty actuator I can still enter code? please e-mail me synchronization diagram, thanks
