Hi all,
I have an 05 plate 2.7 TDV6 which is refusing to start. A few weeks ago it started playing up with a complete absence of low down power and I assumed (and still do) that the EGR valves were at fault. As it's my partners car it hasn't been driven for a couple of weeks and this morning I have gone out to move it so I could fit the EGR blanking kit. It turns over and attempts to start but it just dies and I then get various faults appearing such as Handbrake, Gearbox, HDC System etc.
I have done a hard reset with no success and I have the battery on charge now (on the car) just in case it is related to low voltage but to me if the battery is charged enough to turn the car over (voltmeter shows 13 volts from the battery) and it almost starts (it runs for about 1 - 2 seconds). I also put my boost pack on the car but this didn't help.
I don't have the diagnostic kit to do much more but was hoping there would be some tips and guidance from the forum.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks
D
