the missus kept nagging me for watching telly in bed and keeping her awake. I'm sat downstairs so as to keep the peace.:rolleyes:

Are you likely to be able to return to work at any point soon?

i know what you mean about the nagging,no i will never be able to go back to work,nerve damage in my spine plus arthritis in spine as well,plus a smashed left ankle which is held together with screws etc.:(,thats why i have got the meds i was telling you about.

K'inell.:eek::eek::eek:

Sorry to hear that. What happened? (if ya don't mind me asking).:confused:

It's true what they say about there always being someone worse off than yerself. :eek::(

was a HGV driver for the local authority,i drove one of those great big water jetting machines,there was a mod done to it which caused the main water supply valve to become faulty,i asked for this to be rectified,they brought the company who made it called whale tankers to come and look at it,they said valve mod would be £120/150,council said no as the jetter was being replaced within 12 months.cos of this valve it popped my discs out just at the top of my spine,went into hospital after a two year wait and they told me after that i have got nreve damage and there is nothing more to be done,i went back to see them a couple of weeks ago as it has gotten worse,still nothing can be done,but like they told me i could have ended up in a wheel chair or flat on my back for the rest of my life.

I'm really sorry to hear that.:eek:

It's nice to know just how much they valued your life. £150 FFS.:mad::mad::mad:

It amazes me how the government quote helth and safety for everything and yet they do as they please when it comes to themselves and local councils.:(

buch of bastards the lot of them,i took them to court,but lo and behold when it came to finding all the details of my request for the valve replacement and the tanker firms quote they could not be found,
