can u fit a newew inerior into a p38a

Morning everyone just a quick question, would it be possible to fit a newer model interior into a p38a range rover as I cant seem to find a good second hand interior all are damaged in the same place as mine without spending £300+ on a reconditioned interior. Ive managed to find a l322 interior for good money and its the same colour as mine so would only need to replace front seats is it do able.

Anything is doable if you're handy. I suspect you'll need to make some new rails and mounting points to bolt them to the floor. It isn't a straight swap though and you will have some grief getting the motors in the chair to communicate with the ECU.

In short: Yes, it is possible. But it isn't going to be easy.

All things are possible, but some like this idea, are just not worth the effort.

Will have a look into what is different on the seat rails etc . If its mega work will have to get my seats re trimmed/repaired

better of with a retrim mate or seat covers alot less hassle in the long run

ive managed to get guy down from £300 to £210 for fully reconditioned p38a leather interior and its electric is this a good price but will only knock £25 for my interior so if I decide to buy it goes on ebay

Going to have a look on Saturday I do t think 210 is too bad as I've been quoted 160 to repair the drivers seat

160 seems quite steep to repair a seat. depends how bad it is though i suppose. i was thinking about new interior but to much grief lol.

Thats about the going rate for refurbing the seat. I was quoted £175 for the 2 sections on the steering wheel!

Got let down went to pick seats u and their out if wrong model and they had chopped all wires to electric motors .anyone selling any cream seats are know any good repair places
