can not open locks with remote

Took batteries out of key and then put back then could not open car with it manual key will but sets alarm off. What do I do please?
 
I had that problem , try putting key in drivers door, press the lock button and turn key to the right still holding the button wait for 2 or 3 seconds then turn ket back to the left still holding the lock button then remove key , release button
