Can i get rid of this relay?

Question can i remove this relay?


Its located next to to engine bay fuse box on the wing and the wires come from tbe battery and also from the trailer sockets. Dont have the tow bar or trailer sockets attached anymore.
So just want to know if i can get rid of it.

Also seems that the alternator earth goes into the back of one of them would i just take it out and earth it to the body there or would it be easier to earth the alternator on the other side of the engine bay rather than having a wire go all round the engine?

Why do you want to remove it?

Take it out, I it causes problems put it back in, simples

Pull the relay plugs and see what happens, if nothing start removing the wiring, easy.

Right as per suggestions i just unplugged it all (and took the alternator earth out and re earthed elsewhere) and nothing happened at all. After unplugging and removing did i realise the wiring only went to where the trailer socket once was:behindsofa:

Well done, that was quick and nothing happened..... but i've just see a blue disco without any stops lights in Salisbury
