Can anyone recommend a Steering Guard?

I really fancy adding an Aluminium Steering Guard (with holes) to the front of my 90. There seem to be loads of options, makes and models  - has anyone had any good (or bad) experience and would any of you recommend a particular brand?

I also fancy a set of Diff Guards - same question as above!

Thanks,

I also bought mine from Rebel4x4 - It was pretty easy to fit. The only pointer I'd give is not tighten the brackets until you have the cover fitted as you may have some fun making the screws fit otherwise!

Oh mate...you were not wrong there...what an absolute pig of a job that was. Apparently ( I am told) they are designed like that to make it difficult for people to get to the mountings and steal your winch and bumper etc. Which makes me feel a little better about the skin off the back of my hands that is now attached to the bottom of my car.

l've bought one of these, what fixings do you get with it. l got 4 nuts & bolts to hold the cover on and 1 long bolt, is that it or have l got some missing.

Cheers

thats it...the long bolt fixes the rear of the passenger side bracket to the chassis- there is already a bolt on the chassis where the drivers side bracket will go. the brackets fix on the front between the chassis and bumper mounting-so you will need to slide those bolts out to fit it
. you may need some washers to space it correctly.

Thats ok then, l'm just used to not getting all the bit when ever l buy something. Thanks for the quick reply

I had exactly the same reaction. I was all set to give them a call asking about me missing bolts when I thought I'd better check underneath!!!!

Glad I did - would have looked a right f*7kwit!!!

lt was raining so couldn't be botherd to check, so l thought l'd ask on here before giving em a call. glad l did now.:)
