Cheers, I now see what you mean. Just come in for a break. All goin well...so far.........so well in fact, that the missus has total confidence that we'll have a 4x4 workin before the winter snow sets in (my other RRC a silver daily driver awaits insurance claim finishing), she's gone and bought herself her own second car...a Range Rover Classic!!!!!! It's got 12months MOT, so atleast it wont be too much of a distraction or havin to fix...in theory atleast

glutton for punishment , or a fool?

YOU DECIDE!!! :D

Yep, definately both....and bang goes ANY free time I might have had outside work:rolleyes:
Was in the middle of engine work on bobtail today and missus shouted me over..." Could you have a look at the sunroof, please" oh dear I thought "the seal looked like is was lifting off, so I've removed it, but can't get it back in" DOU DOU DOU:doh::doh::doh:

Half a roll of gaffa tape later.... I will sort it out when I get a moment to pull the magical 'fix all' spanner out of m butt!!!

Well, thats what she did at first.....My guess is she's less than impressed with my 2minute gaffa tape frenzy.
Hense her lookin at fixes herself ;)

I shall to remember this technique in the future! :)

the wife on only has new cars- I have enough work keeping my fleet of three going without addin her motors to it :p

Mine isn't a fan of new motors, though admittedly up until now she's only ever had old SL mercs, which to be honest have all proven to be very reliable if even more thirsty than a RRC!!
