Anyone replaced their camshaft sensor (NSC100932) as this part is no longer available with the lead attached, so it's a separate sensor and separate wiring loom which plug together. However looking at most of the sensors available the connection is on the top of the sensor rather than at right angles to the sensor, so not sure this will fit under the spark plug cover plate. Anyone had experience of this or know of a sensor that has the connector at right angles, although even with these, I can't see how the cabling then sits in the groves/fins of the camshaft cover - but they must somehow! Pictures of one fitted would really be appreciated. Cheers

I had to change the cam position sensor on my Project Tonge 1.8. I used a second hand sensor off a KV6, which fitted in the same place of the old one.
I didn't take any pictures though, which is strange for me. :(
