cambelt change

hi as anyone any idea how much a cambelt change is on a FL 2 2.2 please ??

I was quoted at land rover stealers £413.09 inc vat and that was with out pulley or tensioner that would be extra, so I have ordered the gates belt kit which includes the water pump under £100 also auxiliary belt and am going to do it myself.

PS also managed to buy the timing holding pins kit £25.00

yeh i think £200 would be a fair price.I will find out tomorrow.

hI arctic2 just had a quote for cambelt doing £245 that includes pulley,tensioner and new water pump and thats a fully trained LR mechanic.So i,m happy with that

That sounds a bargain ask him if the travels to the midlands, I have all the parts
