Hi Guys, regarding the question of the swing away wheel carrier, are your 90's ex MOD soft tops or just soft tops. reason is the feedback I am getting from a couple of manufacturers is that they won't fit without taking off bumperettes and they can't be sure about the non standard lights.

Mine was an ex mod soft top.
IIRC I had to remove the offside bumperette.

can you remember what brand it was, I know you said you bought it from paddocks.
There seems to be two types, one which is scured by a latch on the bottom mount ( I think this will hit the lights when open)and the second which seems to go right across the tailgate and secured on the left hand side latch that also secures the gate.
I am sure there are other sorts but these are the only ones I have seen, I can live (I guess) without the bumperettes but the lights are clearly a different issue.
Any help/advice gladly received.
