Swing away wheel carriers

Hi, new to landyzone. Any thoughts on swing away wheel carrier for 90? There's quite a choice from cheap britpart up to ridiculously expensive options. I like the idea of greaseable joints and at least one (safari equip, I think) can be galvanised. At the moment I have 265 70r16 michelin synchrones - will they fit a standard carrier?
Another question : any idea what pressure the tyres should run at? I can't find anything useful on the Internet.
