Re placed my front pads this weekend. Drivers side went fine but when I did the near side the rubber pistons seals have been damaged by the person who replaced the pads the time before. The piston wasn't seized despite the torn seal so to get the car back on the road I fitted the new pads. You cannot get the seal kits from the local spares shop these days but they are easily available online. My question is can the piston outer seal be replaced without totally stripping the caliper?
