Does anyone know what size the caliper retaining bolts are and where they can be found/ordered from? I'm guessing they're 7/16" going by the socket that nearly fits on those on my car.

Who ever worked on them last made a right mess, graunched one and rounded off the other which leads me to my next question. Any tips for getting the bolts off as they don't seem to want to budge? I've tried most things, even heated the one that allowed me to shield off pipes/rubber stuff and still no joy.

Thanks.

They are metric not imperial

Thanks, I think I'll me making good use of an Irwin kit given some of the bolts I've seen so far.

I offered up a few sockets; 12mm is too big, 11mm just too small, so I guess whoever had the car before was a bit old school :)

They are supposed to be 12mm. Or at least that was the size originally fitted by the caliper manufacturer.

I had to replace one of mine a year or so ago.

Perhaps someone has replaced a 12mm with a 7/16th one, which would fit easily as 7/16th of an inch is 11.1125mm.

Singvogel.

I don't doubt they were 12mm at some point in their life. They've been mangled that much that a 12mm socket now can't get any purchase.

I've seen mention of 4 bolts from Land Rover being priced at £46

Does anyone know where a cheaper alternative can be found?

I bought Pagid pads and discs from Euro Car Parts when they had their last offer on but just double-checked the boxes and no bolts :(

The search continues...

I was thinking of getting a set of Pagids from ECP soon as they have a 30% discount offer on this month.

But if they don't have the caliper bolts ......

Who does for sure??

Dunno! Euros sell em as their budget brand but I've never had issues with them when I've used em! I've had more issues with green stuff pads!
