Hi. The leave that controls the fan strength is not attached to my dash in any way. Is there a parts breakdown / exploded view of this area anywhere ? I presume I need a couple of brackets bit I've got no idea what they would look like. Maybe they have part numbers ?

I think you'll find there should be 2 screws hold it on. They come through the plastic surround from the left side of the surround and screw into threaded bosses on the actual lever assembly.

Have added the part image for the heater control. Check if you can make sense of it and if you need to know any particular part number let me know :D

Great. That is a very usefull image. However, I think I have all of the parts that are shown on that diagram. The thing just does not appear to have any way of bolting it on though ? Is the only fixing that holdfs the whole thing in place refered to as 4 & 5 ? Or are there other fixings ?

From what I can see there is nothing else. Have included image of the instrument panel and can not see anything else. Will look at mine tonight and let you know unless someone else can answer the question first

If it's the vent control cable that isn't attached then that vent should fail open, or you can push the vent control hinge downward on the side of the heater box to leave it on the hot setting. the front vent flaps are better than the heater box if you want cold air anyway :)

Yes, It's parts 4 & 5 in that diagram and there should be 2 of them.
On the left hand side of part number 1 there are threaded brass bosses that the screws fit into. I think there's also a couple of plastic "tubes" on the inside of the Large plastic instrument surround that the screws go through to locate the assembly.

Yep I looked at mine and (without actually taking anything apart) that is the way it all seems to hang together
