Can anybody help me on this one. I have a couple of queries regarding the fuse box located under the steering wheel on my Freelander (52)...

  1. What is the little clip for with the opening above it, on the outside of the fuse box cover (To the right hand side) ?
  2. Above all the fuses are a couple of connectors marked C???, one of which is empty (C594), there are three spade type male connections in C594. What is this for and what are the three pins ?
  3. I would like to connect my CB up to somewhere in this fuse board and am hoping I could use some of these pins. Any thoughts ?
regards, Mick

C594 is for connecting additional equipment. For example there is a switched positive. I use for Mobile phone cradle and for caravan electrics.

Are you talking about the fuse puller when you mention little clip??
