Can anyone tell me exactly what i need to bypass my sedimentor, dont wanna get half way thru and find out i dont have all the bits. do i need barbed fuel connectors, i cant seem to find anywhere near me that sells this type of stuff so it looks like a ebay job

passenger side tank one remove olive fasten with hose clip ,you can if get good fitting hose silicone plastic pipe and push other over and tighten without going to far small hose clip or use push fit connector with spigot for pushing rubber hose on 8mm hose,or fit joiner and hose clip both

Rubber pipes always measured internally, plastic pipes measured externally.
So rubber is female and plastic is male!!

I have all the parts needed to do this now-8mm silicone fuel hose (1m length)and clips, I have measured the fuel pipe on the car and the pipe on the front end of the sedimentor will go into the hose but when ive tried to measured the pipe at the back it seems a bigger diameter and plastic rather than rubber, does anyone know where to cut the pipe at the back end? It seems about 9.5mm or will it squeeze into the 8mm fuel hose?

If that is your problem of the different diameters, and the new hose has a thick wall just use a drill bit to make the one end a larger hole. then blow it out real good so there isnt any stuff left inside:D

No go on that fur trapper the pipe is thick but the red pipe inside is really thin any other ideas?

Try this heat the red pipe up with really hot water, as near boiling may soften the red pipe allowing it to stretch over other pipe. Also a hair dryer set on high could do the same thing:D.

i use air line push fit fittings, 8mm one end, 10mm other end.
either buy an 8-10mm adaptor, or 8mm 1/4 bsp male and 10mm 1/4 bsp male with a 1/4 bsp coupling between them.
available from compressed air stockists (i use thorite in bradford)
machine mart might even do em. failing that, fleabay.

thats a good idea and might have to do that but i could do with using this what ive got, ya dont know the internal diameter of the pipe that goes onto sedimentor do you?

nope, soz!
wouldnt stuff owt up the inner of the pipe as this will decrease its area and could cause fuel flow issues.
