So the Shogun is in the garage, SORN'ed as it was starting to irritate me and didn't behave itself!

Got myself a 2001, Disco TD5 ES.....thought that would make you happy bunch!

So, first couple of jobs have been, ordering tailgate actuator as door won't unlock with central locking and bypassed the Turbo Solenoid as was really sluggish - massively improved but I have ordered another just in case. My question is....

What are the immediate its n bits I need to get onto given I have only had it 24 hours?

Hi, that's a bit strange cos a faulty wastegate modulator would not make it sluggish but "nervous" untill up to around 2700rpm then overboost, make sure that the valve is not sticking and the turbo hoses not soft(delaminated)... the EGR is still on ?

anyway if you just bought it better give it a full oil and filters service to start with
