Any help would be great. I've found a 1 owner 59 plate Vogue Westminster (3.6 tdv8) in blue with 77000 miles. It has the old style dash and no dab (which id love) should I buy or get the facelift on a 10 plate with loads more miles and owners ? Can't wait to buy one just not sure which.

NEVER rush into a Range Rover purchase - even if you would love one - this one doesn't have the kit you are after - maybe it isn't the one for you....unless you can live without the updated dash and DAB radio...

That said, regardless of number of owners - it is vehicle condition you need to contemplate - a vehicle can have 1000 owners and if they have all kept the vehicle up to snuff - who cares how many it has had, but if those owners have neglected maintenance and repiars - then it is a dog....similarly, a single owner vehicle that has skimped on maintenance etc will be just the same dog!

Thanks for your reply, I'm looking at the Westminster on Monday, Ive come from owning a few VW Transporters and have learnt quite alot about them but know very little about Vogue's. Is the new LCD dash reliable ?

There are threads on the pros and cons of which to buy, based on engine, fuel, etc.
However, technical details aside, when it comes to 'toys' , only you know which is best for you. If you are going to constantly wish you had bought the model with DAB and newer dash, then dont buy the one without. If they're not major wants then buy whichever one you like best.
From my second car onwards I have thoroughly checked the models available in a make , then which model I wanted, then which trims are available and which I can afford. Then I make a wish list of 'toys', coupled with which ones i will not compromise on and which ones would be 'nice'. Sometimes i bought an older model with all the toys I wanted , rather than newer with only some.
This is all personal choice. When it comes to which one you buy, based on toys, only you know what you can or cannot live with.

Before anyone shouts at you. Vogue is a trim not the model. The model is l322.

Hence my years of learning models and trims of each make I was interested in, before choosing which to look at/buy.

Thanks for the reply . Im in between a preface lift low miles or facelift with higher miles and more owners.

I'm sure others will pipe in with other opinions. However, I stick by, only you know which suits you. Forget facelift, not facelift, owners, etc and just ask yourself, 'which one will I kick myself for walking away from?'
As this vehicle will become your mistress just treat the choice similarly. Which is the one that you will want to lavish time, love, care and your hard earned money on? Which one do you think will treat you better, in the long run? Which one would you keep thinking about, if you chose the other? Therein lies your answer.;)

Simon, mind if i call you Wyatt ?

no matter what RR you buy, you should put aside some funds for your own diagnostics like a nanocom. not generic, it must be able to access the range of systems. also you should be prepared to do some spannering yourself. without your own diagnostics or self spannering, it can and probably will eat your face
