Hey all, i've seen a few 90's which I might go and look at, I just wondered if some others can check over the ads and let me have your opinions on the price etc as I dont know much about these and dont want to be ripped off!!

Thanks

This One

This one

This one

and lastly,

This one (see below)

The last one needs MOT, the guy is open to offers and he's got the sheet from the test cetnre saying it needs welding by the brake cylinder, a new manifold gasket and a few bulbs and wiper blades....

Thanks in advance for any advice it would be much appreciated!

p.s. sorry if these belong to anyone on this forum!!

hey fella,
wats ur ideal budget??
in my opinion I would go for the first one and get it for under £2500

check quality of work done on chassis is true, take someone from here along with you to look at it.

the engine'l be a lil weak, but if your not towing up hills, then it wont be too much of a problem.

Sam, I think you should keep looking mate, and im sure you will find a better 90 than any of those advertised for half the price. If your willing to do your research on e-bay you can find some bargains, but take some one with you who knows about Landys, and check it over before bidding.

Thanks guys.

budget is around £2500. Ideal spec would be green with van sides.

It's so difficult to find anything local, ebay is mostly too expensive or really tatty.

not sure where else to look, i've tried the obvious autotrader, freeads etc, but there's nothing :-(

Best one there is the third one but you can do way better. You should get a reasonable TD for around the grand mark or a reasonable tdi (the third one) for not too much more than 2.

wouldnt trust that one, tryin to flog it as a TD5!!

i agree on the one odenne higlighted later though.

findin good ones can be a problem. Its fine people tellin ya theres bargains out there and dont pay that yadda yadda yadda, yet it all depends on wats near you not wats near them!!

I waited aboot 4 months to get mine, had to jump my budget from 5 to 7.5k to find somethin I was happy with where I live...and this is defender country!!

Just buy the cheapest you can find that's in reasonable looking nick and face up to the fact that there WILL be stuff wrong with it. With 2500 quid you ain't gonna get a minter so save as much dosh as you can for fixing it.

the 1st one is just accross the road from me and he bought some bits of me a couple of weeks ago,i looked at it before i bought mine its ok but looks a bit lame and to be honest if you got it for around 2k or under i would say go for it anymore i wouldnt
