Unless you update monthly at the very least, they are never up to date in France where bypasses are still being built at a great rate.

I guess the French as as bad as the UK for using up transport budgets. There's practically roadworks all the way from Sheffield to London on the M1:mad:

Very true,

Always a pleasant drive through France in my experience & traffic jams are practically non existent.
As long as you stay away from the A86 & the Periphique round Paris.
Marseille & Toulouse are not too good either in the rush hour.

Not sure how much longer the P38 will be viable in France, they want all old cars off the road, talk is the government is going to offer €10K towards the purchase of a new electric or hybrid car.

No I don't want one, but I think time is running out for my P38 if the socialists remain in power here.
We will not buy another car though, we have 2 cars that fall into the Voiture de Collection category so we will use those locally if needs must plus the Transit. For longer trips it may be a case of hiring.
Cars have been banned in Paris on alternate days depending on registration number a couple of time in the past 12 months due to pollution.

Sounds like a nightmare. I'm assuming Voiture de Collection is a form of classic cars? What age do they have to be to fall into that? Is that your Mr2?
