Hello all,

I am being tempted buy a 1991 90 hard top. 120k just had welding done and passed MOT. Hardly been driven (1-2k a year) passenger door, rear door and drivers footwell all rotten/ rusty so would need some work there. The chap wants £5k, what’s everyone’s views/ opinions. Things to look out for etc? I will use daily to commute to work and have it as a little rolling project.
Any help and advice would be great!
Many thanks George

Overpriced in my opinion but not massively so. Whats the rest of it like?
@callisr see why yours is a bit cheap?

Prices vary a lot. Condition can vary a lot with age. The betterer ones have had a lot of work done to repair them. The quality of work and how much has been done, and what is likely to need doing in the next few years, is the thing to look out for.

A betterer option would be to buy a freelander. ;)
