Well, I was driving my 90 this morning, when it all went a bit pear-shape. I got out and was confronted with my nearside front tyre in bits. The wall had come away from the tread in several places, and it was completely deflated (obviously).
I've only relatively recently bought the vehicle and it came with Anaconda Greenway (remoulds). They look fantastic, and are great in the mud, but this has worried me a lot.
I would never have gone for remoulds myself, but I didn't think they'd go t*ts up in such dramatic fashion. I was told they were rated 'k' (good for 75 mph). I've not topped this, but do a reasonable amount of motorway driving in my 90.
Has anyone experienced anything similar, or can anyone recommend any tyres that are a) rugged b) safe on-road and c) cheap (ish).
Thanks very much in advance for your help.
On another note which are the best jacks to use on 90s, as I had to borrow a mate's this morning.
