So, where next?

Canada next year for me then going to go back to Iceland in the D3 in 2015 - last time i was there we hired a little 4x4 so couldn't explore the inner island properly, so, want to return and explore it more!

Nooo way. I just back from there yesterday! Did a 5 day 'recky' to see if it is worth shipping the Disco up there for a propa adventure, and it defo is.

I found the huge lava fields as inspiring as the desert. That is a propa 'ard country!! Like their big trucks too.

Got Transylvania with John next yr the maybe Draa valley yr after so Iceland possibly 2016. One Life do a trip there and have a interesting route.

Ps. Luvd reading your threads over past year as have been reliving the whole experience!

Excellent :) Iceland is incredible - spent 8 days there last time, I'll do my own route round though, There are pros and cons to group tours - places like Morocco I'd have been nervous doing on my own with the responsibility of the missus, where as Iceland I'll happily do myself.

Awesome pics mark, great timing!!

Mike, having probs with the vids, YouTube is usually more reliable that PB for vids IMO!

Very true... I'll re-upload tonight, I can just do straight to photobucket from my phone! (Although I've put part 1 on FB so you can watch it there...!)

lovely pics lads , must be lovely to be living the dream , so to speak .....some of us are just dreaming the dream ..:)

It doesn't take much to convert the dream into a reality :)

But, yes, it was absolutely incredible, I'd strongly recommend it to everyone, on your own, with a tour guide, or in a small group, that just comes down to personal preference, there are huge benefits and disadvantages to each option.

Swivel ball problem has been confirmed by Gwyn Lewis as a genuine problem.

I had a battle with Britpart earlier this year who despite sending me a new ball wanted to hear nothing of the fault.

Mark has just initiated a complaint with Bearmach but now we are trying a different angle to find out the root cause, ie the manufacturer.

Mark - have you been in touch with Darsy too?
