Does anyone know if you get cad drawings for a heavy duty front and rear bumpers and rock sliders, as would like to try and make my own as am a cheap skate.
Cheers

They are easy enough to make up as you go, simply reuse the mounts from your old bumper (will need to cut them off first) and weld on some heavy duty box section, give it a kink at the ends and bobs your mothers brother....

Heres mine pre winch:

As a CAD designer I have looked for ages and found nothing. Am currently working on a few elements that can be modelled but don't have a lot of time lol.

Someone posted an excellent bunch of pics last year on how they fabbed up the curves ends added to a standard metal bumper ....if you do a search its a subject that has come up quite a lot ....but actual spec drawings ? Not seen any myself but they may be out there

I don't have CAD drawings yet but will do soon as I need to CAD up my new front bumper sections so that my friend can cut the pieces with his CNC plasma.

if you have a program such as solid works its a doddle to make a CAD model and then print engineering spec drawing. After reading this i decided to make my own on solid works and its pretty easy if you quickly get some measurements from your old one. so that'll be my next project to make it!
