Hi folks
Are there any exploded views of the series 3 bulkheads showing the stiffeners inside?
I have searched online without success
I was cutting down top corner of my bulkhead when I went through a stiffener only about 50 mm.
Didn't know it was there. Fortunately I can weld it back together, only a 1mm slit.

cheers

Not sure what you're referring to. The bulkhead is a pressed panel and then with areas welded on. Refurbishment is possible, you can buy replacement door pillars (YRM Solutions) amongst other bits like the corners and footwells. If there's rot above the pedals that's when you've got serious problems.

He might be talking about the cappings. Or he might be talking about the strengthener bars you can buy if you want to remove the internal bulkhead altogether.

I think he means the exta bits of steel you find inside at the top of the bulkhead near the screen bracket.
Yes they are the bits,
The bulkhead is completely stripped of parts and still fitted to the chassis.
I have all the parts to rebuild the bulkhead. Pillars, feet, top corners, footwells.
I referred to the inside metal as stiffeners as that is what I was told they are called.
I have not seen any mention of them anywhere.
i just wanted to find out what the whole exploded view looked like. But I cannot find one. And I am working blind.
I have seen the video and that is what I am talking about.
cheers Peter
Just a few pics of current position. Pouring with rain and freezing in the garage even with a heater so it will wait until later.
First two pics show a small seperate piece sandwiched in between the bigger parts.
