Yay or nay?

Ive heard people have galvanized their series's bulkhead and other people say its hit or miss that it will warp?

I can see the footwells would warp but if some angle was welded across perhaps?

Anyone had it done, any views on this? etc

I think adding supports to it before dipping would not be difficult. There is probably bolt holes that can be used to attach the supports without need for welding.

Other possibility is powder coating the whole thing. The finish is rock hard and if done well will last forever.

One problem that occurs with galvanising thin guage metal is the heat of the acid bath to clean the metal, if it is too hot the metal will be eaten by the wash (I had a brand new rally car bobyshell dipped to remove all sealer from the seams and it came out of the bath with no roof left!!), far better powder coated.
