Build / restoration / project section

This is mainly aimed at admins and it's not to come across ignorant but wouldn't it be better if the was a sole section for restoration and build threads?

Just thinking that it would be a good idea and it would stop people trawling the pages of the forum looking for all the build threads etc

I agree Ive a full rebuild thread on a different forum that i didnt put up here because i couldnt find a section suitable

This isn't new, this has been asked before. The answer was no then as well

Basically we would end up with a million sections on the forum, things get hard to find when there is loads of sub forums and sections.

Its pretty simple really. Put it in the most relevant section.

A million, no just one for any project/rebuild, not to hard to sort out I'm sure

I was thinking also it would be easy to have a rebuild section but sub sections with diff models except freelander because nobody likes them anyway joke btw

You can see how the forum could get over complicated though if this route was taken.

I personally don't mind having the rebuilds and projects in the same section as the rest of the Defender threads as it means you can read through a whole range of different topics including the projects in the same place.

That also wouldn't be bad aswell

Its not that its difficult, it wouldn't take a minute to sort out. Its not the way the owners want the forum to be.

Exactly the way it was explained to me.

There are enough idiots on here who can't post in the right section as it is, without adding more sections to the mix.

Thats what were on about though.

Most people wouldn't even bother to look in it, even if they knew it was there.

How many times do people ask questions that have been asked a million times before? how many times do people post up gaylander questions in the general section? Or what size tyres they can fit?

But it worth having it there, a moderators job is to moderate the forum and put things in the correct section and to keep people in check. Oh and to help people with tyre queries lol
