tell them too get some proper tyres on it and knock 2 grand off the price then it might just be worth it.

Thought it was a bit pricey but I can't work out LR prices - no real consistancy with them:confused:

Mach 5 wheels with road tyres, bucket seats that aren't certified or approved for any type of Motorsport, and that price tag!

Looks like a fun toy, you would obviously get the price down a bit and if its what you want go for it. I would decide after a good test drive if its worth the money, at the end of the day it's a cheap enough toy.

Seems pricey, I paid £1650 for mine a month or so ago...2000/W, it is standard but yh, that seems a whole lotta money. I have heard they are good on the service/parts front though.

If you want to spend 4k why not buy a standard td5 for about 2.5k then spend the rest on whatever toys you want to put on it.

Better than paying 1500 for a rust bucket as long as the chassis is good and your happy go for it if its just had a paint job blowover walk away Tis tidy I likes tidy :)

Evening All

Has anyone used Brooklyn 4X4 at all? They have a disco for sale which has been up for sale for ages and I was wondering what you peeps think of it :

Land Rover Discovery 200 TDI MANUAL OFF ROAD PREPARED 2.5 3dr 1993

Looks quite a nice toy
Ok I have negotiated a deal almost for 3200 cash by the weekend posing as your older brother they will let me know in twenty minutes if your intrested let me know ASAP :)
Oh btw the milage 168000

still WELL overpriced at £3200 imo.

We're all entitled to an opinion but an old car with only 3 owners and has had a referb engine too and some good bits as long as the chassis is good , you don't go that far these days for a wreck and if it is ,after inspection walk away .

I like the rollcage .. but wonder if it's actually comp spec, and I like the wheels and the general condition ... but based on a decent Disco Tdi being around £1500+ today, I can't see this one being worth more than £2500 myself .. and I wouldn't spend that much on it anyway ...
