Well here we go again, Im always breaking something, bit to impatient . They were all pretty hard to get out but thus one wouldn't budge, as you can see my various efforts to get it out have turned it in ti this :eek:
Any Ideas. ? its the Swivel Housing.

Thanks Snapped two bloody cheap drill bits before, only got cordless . Is there some kind of hardened drill bits I can get ?

I have a spare in Jarrow will check it out are they handed as would need to know whether near or off side.
Edit the oil filler hole shows which side is which.

Not sure if there sided Mate but I think this one is passenger side but will check tomorrow.
 
+1 for Cobalt HSS - BUT ( why the feck is there always a but :rolleyes: ), get the 8% Cobalt ones - AKA DIN339 - I buy all mine from :-

Taking these off other axle, as I need the backplates. Might as well use the whole lot as look better condition. save me tapping that hole out. everything getting replaced with these. Full Kit With Swivel Housing (LATE) - Paddock Spares
Will try not not break anything when I stripping them down. :rolleyes:

It must be nice having a good selection of parts available.
If your not going to use the 2.25 petrol engine your mate has in his shed would he be willing to sell to me would like a project to possibly replace my 200DI in the future. Mind I am coming up to 70 so may never get around to fitting it but would enjoy the tinkering.

Not sure which one to use yet, didn't get a chance to look at the 19 j yet, still thinking if making an offer on eBay one though but will let you know when I decide
