Britpart speedo cable lesson learnt

hi series 3 speedo cable broke 3 inches in from top, oh thats easy me thinks buy replacment and fit, but alas not quite right holes don't line up, eventually fitted 170.3 miles later oops burst again 3 inches from top(inner cable) replaced with britpart again giving benefit of the doubt 10 yes 10 miles later exact same. lesson learnt waiting on a decent one from landy dealer NOT SH-TPART sorry britpart this time. is 10 miles a record.
rant over.
p.s i carry oxygen cylinder around with me 24/7 so not too easy to do even the simple jobs never mind 3 times.
