I've got the K&N filter
Better IMO
Does make a slight difference and you can really hear the air being drawn in
I think there the same price

I got mine on fleabay as well :D

Nothing from Britpart is any good, they are a crap company. A proper K&N is around the same price on ebay.

Yes heard something about that too
There's not that much oil in the filter lol
A very small amount
I have always used K&N filters on all
My cars and bikes and there's not been any problems with them

:D:D:D

you will notice a difference once fitted, you can hear the difference :p

have you done the rest of the mods ?

ive done them all - and its lovely to drive now lol (very nippy) :p:p

Pierburgh MAF, Synergy 2, Upgraded Breather, K&N filter, EGR Bypass & Sports Exhaust:D

I have a K&N on my focus, and it's done 40000 miles on it, no issues with MAF failure yet! As long as when you reoil it after cleaning you don't go silly it's all ok!

A well reasoned argument beautifully put.......all apart from the fact it is wrong.:(
Personally I have been using Britpart products on & off for many years (I won't say for as long as I have owned LR's as they haven't been going that long) and I can honestly say not one has let me down. Some have expired in about the same time/mileage that I would have expected a genuine item to last but none have been faulty out of the box, failed to fit or broken soon after fitting.

Let them roll............

hi,

yes, well I have never really worked out my MPG so a bit unsure.

but im getting roughly 200 miles on £30 - I dont think thats that bad really considering i have all these mods and the synergy on high setting 9 and also having a rather heavy right foot :D

The extra fun you get from all these mods is worth compromising the MPG a bit :D

There are also ITG filters to consider, I have had one in the 90 for some time now and it does the job nicely. The only problem is that they are a bit pricey, for the TD4 it is around £90 but as I say, a very decent filter.

No not yet mate although they are all on my "project list" just need some peace of mind with the VCU before I spend cash on fun toys!

Wait till you have a complaint though & have to deal with the condescending prats, then tell me how good they are.
