I would go with Terrafirma!! good quality cost effective, and made by All Makes which are the worlds leading manufacture of after market LR parts so I dont think you can go wrong!!

Terrafirma +2 shocks on the front and +5 shocks on the rear with std rear springs and hd fronts for the winch handles okay for a defender!

Best depends what you plan to do with it. Is it for off roading, city posing, competition.

Also how deep are your pockets?

OME do some quality stuff, but boy is it pricey.

I'd also check out Cheviot4x4, Llama4x4 and X-Eng.
