brick kiln farm Alton Hampshire

Hi all I was wondering if anyone could tell me if brick kiln farm is open on a Saturday or anyother days and also how much it is as i was planning on a first outing in the range rover this sat 10th.

Found my answer it open every day bring on sat 10th

I hope it is open, I organised an outing down there and turned up with 6 land rovers in tow only to be told it was closed for a private function.

At that time there was no website listing the open dates, and no number to call, not sure if there is now ?

I came across a number by luck at the guy told me opening times and sat was fine I also could find no web site or any information anywere perhaps one for the future

Could i possible tag along with you, it would be my first time there, i just live on the other side of alton out over hook way. I Got a v8 90 thats just been rebuilt and itching to test her out.

from looking around it seems the phone number is all there is, the only other site refering to it with decent info is http://www.lines-associates.com/NewHome/images/documents/brickkiln.pdf


I have seen a couple of threads about it on here but nothing definiative, if you talked to the gu thats good enough for me.

if its a prob, dont worry, will get there sometime

It is open all the time unless a club etc has booked it However, IME, it seems that the local 'bikers' ignore the signs and just come on in anyway!!

As a word of warning the number on that document is not the site owners.

Adie that Land Rover is much to nice to take off road, especially at muddy pay and plays. Get a cheap banger that you can kill without shedding any tears

yer i was starting to think that, if i where to i wouldnt wana let it go for less then £5k. may seem abit much but is perfect.

and then again, thats what it was built for, i already have a couple of scratchs from greenlanes!

i dont have mud tyres but the original 1985 all terrain tyres that stood up quite well at aldermaston site (4x4 without a club)

No don't let it go, it's too nice. In that condition it will last forever if looked after. I was suggesting you keep it as your good land rover and get a banger just for p&p.

I also have a nice rebuilt 1985 90, and realised I was destroying it laning and p&playing, so got the truck cab for playing. The off roading is addictive, you'll just want to keep going harder and harder

I really wish i could add another car to the collection but i am jsut not allowed, this is the 5th car we have at our house now, and an astra i am selling (blue 02 50K automatic 1.6 astra - asking 2700)

Its a case of , well if it gets bugged then we can just get another panel and respray it, i go with the idea of having fun, but just not chucking it into bomb homes without thinking,

well up for going out now!

well as long as i get my clutch working today then it should be a good day out.

I just goto pop along and get some advised about my steering from keith gott, if it gets the all clear will be there on saterday, nothing too 'deep' as i am doing a car tour in it on sunday, but still up for a laugh.

well after a few hours the range rover is already for saturday bring on the mud

nice.

got an issue with power steering but nothing to stop the weekend planned going ahead.

what time are you expecting to be there, ish?

well due to work comitments we will be there around 1 ish hopefully myself and 2 others. we have never been before so we will be going easy and learning as we go.

thats cool, only done one p&p before, just come back from greenlaning out the back of basingstoke, arr maybe another scratch! lol
