Brakes lights and rear electric windows HELP!!

Hi guys and gals.

More questions that i need your help with, Disco 1 97 300TDI

I Hooked up my trailer today and checked the lights before setting off, only to notice that the brake lights WORK on the trailer, but no brake lights on the DISCO? WTF? how does that work lol I have taken the trailer off, but still the brake lights do not work. not sure if the brake lights were working yesterday when i brought, just assumed they were. What do i need to so to problem solve this issue?

secondly, neither of the rear electric windows work, I have tried pressing the child lock on and off at the front, but still no joy. yet again, what do i need to do to problem solve?

Have you checked the bulbs on the disco?

All 4 bulbs have been checked and are working, just no power to brake lights. i would have thought brake switch, but then the brake lights would not come on the trailer when applied.

Fuse?

Hi guys, I have stripped it all down, and it looks like it was the bulb holders that have gone south, they look a little "melted" I have ordered 2 new ones, but is this normal?

Not normal but it has been known.

Not normal but I had it on one side of mine! changed it 8 months ago and it's still fine!
